If you’re considering a Wheels & Feels 4Runner drawer system, here’s my experience.
I ordered their Advanced Storage & Camping System for my 4th Gen Toyota 4Runner on April 27, 2026 for about $1,169.
The confirmation said:
“Your order is currently in production and will be ready to ship within the next 5-6 weeks.”
It also specifically said to let them know if I had a trip planned. I did. I have a September trip, and I ordered in April specifically so I would have plenty of time to install and test the setup.
Later, Wheels & Feels told me:
“We currently have your unit scheduled for production and shipping on 6/16.”
They even offered expedited shipping for an additional $100 or $250, which I was willing to pay.
June 16 came and went. Nothing shipped.
Then I was told:
“The date you were given prior was not correct.”
The new estimate became August.
On August 17, more than 16 weeks after I ordered, Wheels & Feels apologized for the “lack of communication” and said they would check with scheduling to see if they could get it shipped before my trip.
At that point, I was done.
On August 20, I cancelled the order and requested a refund.
So the timeline was:
April 27: Ordered — promised 5–6 weeks
June 16: Wheels & Feels told me my unit was scheduled for production and shipping that day — it did not ship
After June 16: Told that date “was not correct”
August: Still waiting
August 17: Apology for lack of communication, still no firm date
August 20: Cancelled after more than 16 weeks
Meanwhile, Wheels & Feels is currently advertising a 25% sale and continuing to take orders.
I can’t review the quality of the actual drawer system because I never received it.
What I can say is that if you’re shopping for a Toyota 4Runner drawer system, 4Runner sleeping platform, cargo drawer system, overland storage system or camping drawer setup, I would not order from Wheels & Feels unless your timeline truly doesn’t matter and you’re comfortable chasing customer service for updates.
I ordered almost five months before my trip.
Apparently that wasn’t enough.
If I had known on April 27 what I know now, I would have bought something else.
