We spent the night in Eureka Springs and enjoyed the hotel and the funky little town. Got up, had coffee, then headed toward our now-favorite gluten-free bakery in Bentonville and grabbed some stuff to go.
Now we’re headed across Kansas, making sure to visit the surely amazing Wichita along the way. Going diagonally across the state is making this part of the trip gruelingly long.
It’s about 4 p.m. Kansas time and we’ve gone around 156 miles so far. We’re just going to keep going until we’re tired, but we’re not driving after dark. Hopefully that leaves us with a pretty quick run home tomorrow.
Weather is great. Road is straight. Nothing to complain about.
