Got up early, packed everything up and checked out, then went for a pontoon boat ride on Bull Shoals Lake with a couple of Arkansas State Parks interpreters. We cruised around the lake and out by the dam.
I realized afterward that I’d left my snacks in the room, went back for them, and they were already gone. Didn’t have time to track them down, so I’m sure somebody on the staff is enjoying my Reese’s.
Then I headed toward Harrison and stopped at the Townhouse Cafe for lunch. I’m getting the Californian — smoked turkey, lettuce, tomato, mayo, avocado and black jam on wheat.
Interesting.
